Truth Or Dare first opened its doors in September 2004, with one simple aim: to provide great quality, affordable and downright eye-popping clothing to an increasingly bland and branded corporate marketplace.
Based in Winchester, Hampshire we are an independent urban store with some big ideas. We have worked hard from the beginning to achieve the enviable reputation we have gained in the City, which is a result of our approach to both business and life.
Our whole philosophy is based on simple, old fashioned principles:

3. earn customer’s trust; and most importantly
4. keep thing’s fresh!
Our store is a little different. Looking around the high street, what do you see? Most shops look the same, before you even check out the threads! Inside, it’s always the same tired, big brands with little to say to those people who buy their products.
Not us! We have worked hard to source niche brands that are closely in tune with their markets – companies with their finger on the pulse, bringing out the product first; not some big conglomerate churning out the same stuff 3 years later! Whether it’s edgy street wear or clean urban wear we have some great brands for you!

Online Having achieved our aims in store, the time was right for our natural progression online. After all, why should the happy residents of Winchester be the only ones to benefit!
It is our aim that our online site reflects the same image and philosophy as the store itself and also meets the same high standards of customer service that we have achieved.
Our pledge is to offer you, the customer, a fast, reliable and efficient service and that you are satisfied every time you use us. We hope you enjoy using the site and find its clean construction easy to use. After all the whole point of shopping online is to be able to find, quickly and easily, great quality product whilst dealing with a company you can trust.

Finally, we should mention our green credentials. We have had in place from day one contracts to recycle all of the cardboard, plastics and paper consumed in all of our activities. That means we actively do recycle, not just claim that we do!
Its important that we all do our bit for our environment and we do our best to effect all parts of our business that are in our control and would encourage all of our customers to do as much as they can in this cause.
